Highlights are - among several solo-recitals - a concert with the Berliner Camerate and the return to St. Prex classics.
After a highly successful Swiss Ambassador's Award tour through the United Kingdom in October and several concerts in Switzerland in November and December (including at the ETH Lausanne and as a soloist with the Neues Orchester Basel), the recording of the Wigmore Hall debut by Joseph-Maurice Weder has been released end of December.
The upcoming concerts in 2014 are recitals as well as a soloist with various orchestras (a.o. Berliner Camerata) in Switzerland performing Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2, Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1, the Piano Concertos by Mozart K. 271, K. 414 and K. 488, at
After a succesful debut end of August at the St. Prex Classics Festival, the famous cellist Gautier Capucon mentioned Joseph-Maurice Weder in an interview: "...a wonderful musician with an enormous technical capacity".
Joseph-Maurice's solo recital at the Schwarzwald Festival was honoured by standing ovations and the Badische Zeitung claimed it "a superb concert".
The journey will continue in October with a tour through the United Kingdom, with a special highlight: a concert at the prestigious Wigmore Hall.

At the beginning of April, Joseph-Maurice Weder will be performing in three concerts works by Franz Schubert, like the Piano Sonata A Minor D 784 and the well-known Trout-Quintet, together with the Caravaggio Quartett Basel and the double-base player Michael Winkler.
The concerts are part of the cycle "Connaissez-vous".

The Embassy of Switzerland in the United Kingdom has given the "Swiss Ambassador's Award" to Joseph-Maurice Weder. As a part of this great honour he will be performing several concerts this autumn in England, also in the illoustrous Wigmore Hall.
From January 17 till 29th, Joseph-Maurice Weder will be on tour with the Junge Münchner Philharmonic Orchestra. He will be the soloist in seven concerts under the baton of Mark Mast and will perform Mozart's Piano Concerto No 9 in E flat major (K271) in prestigious halls like Konzerthaus Vienna, Cuvilliés Theatre Munich and in Zurich.

This Sunday, January 13, Joseph-Maurice Weder will perform at the Heiliggeistkirche in Basel at 5 pm. The programme will include works by Robert Schumann (Humoreske) and Frederic Chopin (Scherzo No. 2).
